Key Concepts
GoForms is powered by the GoAutomate platform. It has a Trigger, Start and End; no Branches or Activities, so it completes instantly.
Users fill out forms that can be as simple or complex as you need.
Validation Logic ensures accurate data and relationships are captured. Conditional Logic simplifies the form by showing only necessary fields, reducing clutter.
Once data is captured, you can extract it easily using a Reporting Connector to tools like Power BI or Excel.
Since GoForms is built on GoAutomate, you can add more features, such as extra steps, conditional branching, and decision-making, by upgrading to a paid plan if needed.
Automation
GoForms makes use the following GoAutomate step types:

Trigger Step: This is the form users fill out to capture data. You define what data is collected, apply Validation Logic, and use Conditional Logic to show or hide fields. You also design and layout the form and give instructions for filling it out.

Start Step: This placeholder marks the start of the automation and simply routes to the End Step. You can perform some basic data manipulate at this step through the use of Dynamic data.

End Step: This marks the end of the automation. You can set properties for this step based on the data captured.

Reporting
GoAutomate provides Reporting Connectors for dashboards, reports, and data extraction. You can build reports and dashboards in Power BI or extract data to Excel using Power Query.
